My Design Story
About Alicia
Hello there! I’m Alicia Storie – An eco-conscious Interior Designer. Upon graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone with a first-class honour degree in 2014, I ventured to London to kickstart my design career. I worked for interior architecture studio PENSON as a Senior Designer, working with high-profile clients such as The NHS, Expedia, and Accor Hotel Group.
After 4 great years, I packed my backpack and decided to go see the world. This really sparked my curiosity about the environment & wellbeing. My travel became centred around exploring eco-building techniques through volunteering and attending natural building workshops.
AdesignStorie originates from the idea that sustainability should be a central pillar in the design process. I have created a work process that we will follow to implement a sustainable pathway one step at a time. The process is focused around using vintage furniture and reclaimed material aiming for as little waste as possible.

In 2020 I decided to set up AdesignStorie. This project is my way of giving back to the world with a simple vision – Make sustainable design the natural choice.AdesignStorie originates from the idea that sustainability should be a central pillar in the design process.
